| K1 plasma/LCD chimney breast
An ingenious solution to mounting a plasma tv onto a wall
with an electric fire below, enables all cables to be concealed.
Custom made to house your plasma TV. We can also accomodate speakers etc. Picture
shows the Flamerite Odyssey fire installed. Picture shown shows chimney breast
60" wide x 10" deep x your ceiling height, but can be made to ANY size.
Manufactured in high density board, the K1 is supplied fully painted and fully assembled
and looks exactly like a plastered chimney breast once installed. Available for DIY
installation or we can install at extra cost. All of the cabling can be concealed within
the false chimney breast, we can also manufacture units to house ancillary equipment such
as video, dvd, satellite etc (see our furniture section).
The recess for the plasma is normally made to show a 50mm space all around the TV
to allow for ventilation & to enable you to lift the TV onto your mounting
bracket. The recess is precision cut to height width & depth required. The back of the
recess is 18mm thick & is perfect for securing the mounting bracket to it.
Cost of chimney breast custom made to house plasma TV is
£659. Speaker cutouts are priced at £30 per cutout.
Fire not included in cost.
We now manufacture this chimney breast with a media unit
fitted below the fire, again this is custom made to house your equipment and can be
manufactured in oak, american black walnut, beech etc.
