SPK Joinery design and
manufacture a range of radiator covers in both modern and traditional styles. All of our
cabinets are made to measure and can be supplied with a choice of grille designs and
finishes. Radiator covers are available in a choice of painted finishes or in a range of
wood finishes including oak, american black walnut, beech, maple etc etc.

To calculate cost,
measure your radiator from valve to valve, see price bands below. ALL RADIATOR COVERS ARE
MADE TO MEASURE.
Example - if your radiator measures 51" wide look at the
48" to 59" wide price section, cost will be £300 in white or £370 in wood
finish. Add £70 if anodised grille is required.
When
ordering we will require the following dimensions
Dimension A Height of radiator from floor
Dimension B Width of radiator from valve to valve
Dimension C Overall height of finished radiator cabinet,
normally finishes 1.75" higher than Dimension A. But can be other if req'd
Dimension D Depth of radiator from wall to front face of
radiator
Dimension E Skirting board height, we cut cabinet to fit
over this
Special instructions, if you have sockets, door jambs, extra pipework that we
need to accomodate, we need to know about them |

Our solid brass grille is hand-made to measure from 3mm
solid brass bar which is carefully half-jointed at each intersection & fixed to solid
brass mesh. Each intersection is then drilled & riveted together using honeycomb
rivets. The grille panel is then screwed to the inside of the radiator cabinet with a
rebated wooden strip.
To calculate the cost of the grille you multiply the width of the radiator
including valves, by the height of the radiator from the floor to the top x £0.088 to
calculate the cost. Example - 46" wide x 28" high x £0.088 = £113.34. |
