Each fire surround can be made in your choice of wood or painted finish. They can
be made to measure if required.
A selection of interiors (back panel and hearth) is available, currently popular
are black granite for a striking look or light marble for a more subtle look.

The Grosvenor oak fire
surround fitted with a lift for a plasma television. All of our
mantel designs can be custom made to measure to accommodate a pop up TV lift
to suit your TV dimensions. Please note : this sort of installation is
only suitable for electric fires
All of our fireplace designs
can be custom made to measure to accept almost any TV. For information
purposes, the mantel shown has a shelf
depth of 300mm which incorporates a hinged lid 1075mm wide x 172mm deep which is
suitable for a TV up to 70mm deep. The Samsung TV used in this
particular fire surround measures 625mm high x 1025mm wide x 70mm deep.
The lift is supplied fitted
to a custom made back board, which is simply screwed to the wall. The fire
surround has toggle catches to hold the marble or granite back panel in place.
We don't supply the electric fires, but you will require a freestanding fire.
On pressing the hand-held
remote control, the lift automatically opens the lid & the TV emerges. The
mechanism can be stopped at any time by pressing any button on the remote.
Pressing the down button lowers the TV back into the fire surround and the lid
automatically closes.

K1 plasma/LCD chimney breast
Custom made to house your plasma TV. We can also accomodate centre speakers ets.
Picture shows Odyssey fire installed. Artisan manufacture the chimney breast in house.
Picture shown is 60" wide x 10" deep x your ceiling height, but can be made to
ANY size. Manufactured in high density board, the K1 is supplied fully painted and fully
assembled and looks exactly like a plastered chimney breast once installed. Available for
DIY installation or we can install at extra cost. All of the cabling can be concealed
within the false chimney breast, we can also manufacture units to house ancillary
equipment such as video, dvd, satellite etc (see our furniture section).
The recess for the plasma is normally made to show a 50mm space all around the TV
to allow for ventilation & to enable you to lift the TV onto your mounting bracket.
The recess is precision cut to height width & depth required. The back of the recess
is 18mm thick & is perfect for securing the mounting bracket to it.
