The Grosvenor oak fire surround fitted with a lift for a plasma television. All of our mantel designs can be custom made to measure to accommodate a pop up TV lift to suit your TV dimensions. Please note : this sort of installation is only suitable for electric fires All of our fireplace designs can be custom made to measure to accept almost any TV. For information purposes, the mantel shown has a shelf depth of 300mm which incorporates a hinged lid 1075mm wide x 172mm deep which is suitable for a TV up to 70mm deep. The Samsung TV used in this particular fire surround measures 625mm high x 1025mm wide x 70mm deep. The lift is supplied fitted to a custom made back board, which is simply screwed to the wall. The fire surround has toggle catches to hold the marble or granite back panel in place. We don't supply the electric fires, but you will require a freestanding fire. On pressing the hand-held remote control, the lift automatically opens the lid & the TV emerges. The mechanism can be stopped at any time by pressing any button on the remote. Pressing the down button lowers the TV back into the fire surround and the lid automatically closes.
